Vyxion Soursop Bitters drops: what is in the bottle
The ten ingredients on the panel, the 2 ml serving and the four flavors.
Magnesium
Two formulas share thirteen forms of magnesium. They differ in the serving, in what rides along with the magnesium and in how you take them.

We make two magnesium formulas. One is a capsule you swallow, the other a mixed berry gummy you chew. Both are built around the same first line of the panel: magnesium complex.
A complex is a mix of forms. Ours has thirteen, and the panel names every one: glycinate, citrate, malate, aspartate, gluconate, ascorbate, taurate, oxide, lactate, carbonate, chloride, orotate and succinate.
The formulas differ in how much complex a serving holds. Two capsules hold 900 mg of it. One gummy holds 250 mg.
What are they for? In the words of our label, the capsules support bones and muscles, relaxation and restful sleep. The gummies support muscle relaxation, calm and restful sleep.

Both formulas belong to our Magnesium Complex line.

Read the complex line with care. On the capsules, 900 mg is the weight of the complex. It is not the weight of magnesium.
Each of the thirteen names is a compound: magnesium joined to a partner. In citrate the partner is citric acid, and in glycinate it is the amino acid glycine. The partner has a weight of its own, and that weight counts toward the complex figure.
So the magnesium inside weighs less than the compound, and the share differs from form to form. Our panel gives one weight for all thirteen together and none for each form. You cannot calculate the magnesium from the label, because it carries no elemental figure.
The same holds for the gummy and its 250 mg.
| Formula | Complex in a serving | Forms sharing that weight | Weight of each form | Magnesium by itself |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capsules | 900 mg in 2 capsules | 13 | not printed on the label | not printed on the label |
| Gummies | 250 mg in 1 gummy | 13 | not printed on the label | not printed on the label |
Reference amounts for magnesium count the mineral, not the compound. The Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS) at the National Institutes of Health sets them by age and sex.
The amount of magnesium you need depends on your age and sex.
If you need a known amount of magnesium a day, show the panel to your doctor or pharmacist before you order.
Magnesium is found naturally in many foods and is added to some fortified foods.
ODS names legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains and green leafy vegetables such as spinach, along with fortified cereals and milk products. A supplement adds to what you eat.

Start with the capsules. The serving is 2 capsules, and the bottle holds 45 servings. The panel has seven lines.

| Amount per serving | Amount |
|---|---|
| Magnesium complex | 900 mg |
| Glycinate, citrate, malate, aspartate, gluconate, ascorbate, taurate, oxide, lactate, carbonate, chloride, orotate, succinate | |
| Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) | 60 mg |
| Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride) | 3.4 mg |
| Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) | 20 mcg |
| Vitamin D3 | 125 mcg (5,000 IU) |
| Vitamin K2 | 100 mcg |
| Zinc | 20 mg |
Other ingredients: Vegetable cellulose (capsule), magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.
After the lines come the other ingredients: vegetable cellulose for the capsule shell, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.

Now the gummy. The serving is 1 gummy, and the jar holds 60. Its panel has eight lines: the same seven nutrients, plus an herbal blend the capsules do not have.

Put side by side, the two panels read as one recipe in two strengths, with one extra line on the gummy.
| Panel line | In 2 capsules | In 1 gummy | Capsule serving against gummy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magnesium complex | 900 mg | 250 mg | 3.6 times |
| Vitamin C | 60 mg | 30 mg | 2 times |
| Vitamin B6 | 3.4 mg | 1.7 mg | 2 times |
| Vitamin B12 | 20 mcg | 10 mcg | 2 times |
| Vitamin D3 | 125 mcg (5,000 IU) | 50 mcg (2,000 IU) | 2.5 times |
| Vitamin K2 | 100 mcg | 50 mcg | 2 times |
| Zinc | 20 mg | 5 mg | 4 times |
| Relax-into-sleep blend | not in the capsules | 200 mg | gummy only |
A capsule serving holds 3.6 times the complex of a gummy. The vitamins run at about double, and zinc at 4 times.
Beside the complex, both formulas add six nutrients: vitamins C, B6, B12, D3 and K2, and zinc. The panels name the form of three of them: vitamin C as ascorbic acid, vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin.
To judge an amount you need a yardstick. On US labels it is the Daily Value, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) explains it in two sentences.
DVs are the recommended amounts of nutrients to consume or not to exceed each day. The %DV is how much a nutrient in a single serving of an individual packaged food or dietary supplement contributes to your daily diet.
Our two magnesium panels print amounts without a percent column. The gummy panel ends with the footnote "Daily Value not established."
One Vyxion panel does print percentages, and it shows how the column reads. The rhodiola tincture gives 25 mcg of vitamin D3 as 125%, 10 mg of zinc as 91% and 250 mg of a magnesium blend as 60%.
The FDA adds a rule of thumb for reading the column. A serving with 5% of the Daily Value or less is low in that nutrient, and a serving with 20% or more is high.
A figure over 100% means one serving holds more than the Daily Value for that nutrient.
Vitamins C, B6 and B12 are the quiet lines here. D3, K2 and zinc need a closer look, because other bottles in your cupboard may carry them too.
Two Magnesium Complex capsules hold 125 mcg (5,000 IU) of vitamin D3, and one gummy holds 50 mcg. If you already take vitamin D in a multivitamin or on its own, show the panel to your doctor or pharmacist first.
Name every other vitamin D product you use when you ask. A multivitamin counts, and so does a second Vyxion formula.
The panel gives D3 two ways, in micrograms (mcg) and in International Units (IU). They are one amount in two units, so do not add them together.
If you want our magnesium with less D3, the gummy is the lower line: 50 mcg a serving against 125 mcg.
Two capsules have 100 mcg of vitamin K2, and one gummy has 50 mcg. ODS singles out one group who should watch this line: people on a blood thinner.
If you take warfarin, make sure that the amount of vitamin K you consume from food and supplements is about the same every day.
A new daily supplement with K2 changes that amount. If you take a blood thinner, do not start either formula until your doctor agrees. That includes the gummy.
The capsule serving has 20 mg of zinc and the gummy 5 mg.
Zinc is on other Vyxion panels too, so the sum matters more than any one line. Our other formulas with a magnesium line carry zinc as well.
Take the bottle with you, or a photo of the panel. A pharmacist reads a Supplement Facts panel in a minute. ODS gives the same advice.
Tell your doctor, pharmacist, and other health care providers about any dietary supplements and prescription or over-the-counter medicines you take.
The gummy has one line the capsules lack: a 200 mg blend our label calls the Relax-into-sleep blend. It holds seven ingredients: L-theanine, L-tryptophan, 5-HTP, valerian root extract, lemon balm extract, passionflower extract and chamomile flower extract.
The 200 mg is the weight of all seven together. The label gives no amount for each one, so the amount of valerian or 5-HTP in a gummy is not on the label.
Three of the seven are not plant extracts by name: L-theanine, L-tryptophan and 5-HTP. The other four come from plants: valerian, lemon balm, passionflower and chamomile. The label puts all of them under one weight.
The blend makes the gummy an herbal supplement as well as a mineral one, in the sense the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) gives the term.
Herbal supplements are a type of dietary supplement containing one or more herbs.
The gummy label is written for adults. The blend contains 5-HTP and valerian, so ask a doctor first if you take an antidepressant or a sleep medicine. The jar says melatonin-free and sugar-free, and both labels say vegan.
If you want the complex without any herbs, the capsules are that formula. Their panel stops at zinc.
The capsule label sets no hour: take 2 Magnesium Complex capsules once a day with water. The gummy label asks for 1 gummy a day, and we make it for adults who prefer to chew one in the evening.
Capsules: take 2 capsules once a day.
Swallow them with water.
Gummies: chew 1 gummy a day.
Pick one hour and keep it, so the count stays at one serving a day.
Missed a day? Take the usual serving the next day. Do not double it.

Neither magnesium label ties the serving to a meal. Two other Vyxion labels do: the saffron capsules go with a meal, and the NMN capsules go with breakfast.
One serving a day is the whole instruction. The labels give no loading week, no second serving and no schedule by body weight. If you want to take more or less than the label says, that is a conversation with your doctor.
The gummies: $0.17 a day against $0.33 for the capsules, at one serving a day and current prices. Magnesium Complex Gummies run 60 days a jar, Magnesium Complex Capsules 45.
| Formula | Form | Serving | Servings | One container is | Price | Per day |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Magnesium Complex Capsules | Capsules | 2 capsules | 45 | 45 days | $14.99 | $0.33 |
| Magnesium Complex Gummies | Gummies | 1 gummy | 60 | 60 days | $9.99 | $0.17 |
The arithmetic is short. Divide the price by the servings in the container, and you have the cost of a day.
The capsule bottle holds 90 capsules, and at 2 a day that is 45 days. The jar holds 60 gummies, and at 1 a day that is 60 days.
Price per day is not the only way to count. A day of capsules holds 3.6 times the complex of a day of gummies. Per 100 mg of complex, the capsules cost $0.04 and the gummies $0.07.
Neither figure tells you which formula to take. They tell you what the label amount costs you once you have chosen.
Containers do not end on the same day, so longer plans come out uneven. Count whole containers, because you cannot buy part of one.
| Span | Capsules to buy | Capsules cost | Gummies to buy | Gummies cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 90 days | 2 bottles | $29.98 | 2 jars | $19.98 |
| 180 days | 4 bottles | $59.96 | 3 jars | $29.97 |

Most buyers of Magnesium Complex Gummies say yes: 71% of the ratings so far are 5 stars and 16% are 1 star. The 1-star review is about taste and texture.
I would leave zero stars due to the taste and texture of these gummies.
The gummy is a mixed berry chew, and it carries a mineral complex and seven herbal ingredients. It is not candy, and some buyers do not like it.
The count of ratings is still small, so one new review moves the picture.
A capsule goes down with water and that is the end of it. Buyers of the capsules write about the capsules, not a flavor.
Helps with sleep . Helpful supplement
No issues with it so far.
If chewing a supplement puts you off, take the capsule. If you cannot swallow capsules, the gummy is the one magnesium formula we make that you chew. The rest of our capsules and gummies are swallowed with water.
Magnesium is not only in the two Magnesium Complex formulas. It is on the panel of two more: rhodiola tincture and saffron capsules.
The rhodiola tincture gives 250 mg of a magnesium blend, named as glycinate, malate and citrate. The saffron capsules give 200 mg on a line that says magnesium and nothing else. Neither is part of the thirteen-form complex.

| Formula | Serving | Magnesium line | Vitamin D | Vitamin K | Zinc |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Magnesium Complex Capsules | 2 capsules | 900 mg (complex) | 125 mcg (5,000 IU) | 100 mcg | 20 mg |
| Magnesium Complex Gummies | 1 gummy | 250 mg (complex) | 50 mcg (2,000 IU) | 50 mcg | 5 mg |
| Rhodiola Rosea Tincture | 2 ml | 250 mg (blend), 60% of the Daily Value | 25 mcg, 125% of the Daily Value | no vitamin K line | 10 mg, 91% of the Daily Value |
| Saffron 18-in-1 Capsules | 2 veggie capsules | 200 mg | 50 mcg | no vitamin K line | 10 mg |
All four panels carry vitamin D, from 25 mcg to 125 mcg a serving, and zinc, from 5 mg to 20 mg. Vitamin K2 is on the two Magnesium Complex panels only.
Each magnesium label is written as one serving a day, taken by itself. Neither says to pair it with the other. Both carry D3, K2 and zinc, so taking both in one day doubles up on all three.
Write down each formula you plan to take in one day.
Copy the magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin K and zinc lines from each panel.
Add each nutrient down the column. Keep complex weight and plain magnesium on separate lines, because they are not the same measure.
Show the totals to your doctor or pharmacist before the first combined day.
For the overlaps across every formula, see choosing a Vyxion formula by routine and cost per day.
Both magnesium formulas are for adults. The gummy is the one to watch at home: a berry chew in a jar looks like candy. Keep it where children cannot reach it, and count one a day for yourself.
For storage, go by the line printed on your own bottle or jar, and by the date next to it. Close the lid after each serving. A gummy left open dries out and sticks.

Our dropper bottles have a routine of their own, with a dropper and a 2 ml serving: see what is in the Soursop Bitters bottle and how to take it.
Three groups of buyers should talk to a doctor before the first serving, each because of one panel line. A fourth is anyone who is pregnant or nursing, or who has a medical condition.
| If you take | The line to show | In 2 capsules | In 1 gummy |
|---|---|---|---|
| A blood thinner | Vitamin K2 | 100 mcg | 50 mcg |
| Another vitamin D product | Vitamin D3 | 125 mcg (5,000 IU) | 50 mcg (2,000 IU) |
| An antidepressant or a sleep medicine | Relax-into-sleep blend, with 5-HTP and valerian | not in the capsules | 200 mg blend |

Still between formulas? The formula finder sorts our formulas by what you want from a routine.
Whichever you choose, the method is the same. Read the complex line as a weight. Read D3, K2 and zinc as amounts that add up across bottles.
Then take one serving a day, and let a doctor or pharmacist see the panel if you take medicine.
Dietary supplements are not medical care. Follow the directions and warnings on the label, and talk to a doctor before you start a supplement if you take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition.
